Jyotiraditya Scindia removed ‘Congress’ from Twitter profile, speculation of resentment

Jyotiraditya Scindia, veteran leader of Madhya Pradesh Congress and former Congress General Secretary, has removed his Congress identity from his Twitter account on Monday. In his new bio, he has described himself as a public servant and a cricket lover.

Speculation continues over the displeasure of Jyotiraditya Scindia, the veteran leader of Madhya Pradesh Congress and former Congress General Secretary. On Monday, Scindia removed her ‘Congress identity’ from her Twitter account. In his new bio, he has described himself as a public servant and a cricket lover.

Let me tell you that there was speculation that Scindia is facing neglect in the party after a bitter defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. In August, amid the resentment of Scindia and the threat of resignation of activists in support of her, CM Kamal Nath himself went to Delhi to meet Sonia Gandhi. After the meeting, Kamal Nath had said that ‘everything is fine’.

However, on Monday, a sudden change in Scindia’s Twitter profile is being seen as a major sign. Jyotiraditya Scindia had earlier written his post on his Twitter profile- Congress General Secretary, MP from Guna Lok Sabha seat (2002-2019) and former Union Minister. Now he has removed it and wrote himself a social worker and a cricketer lover.

In the same month, the Kamal Nath government announced the name of Vidisha district hospital after Jyotiraditya Scindia’s late father and veteran Congress leader Madhavrao Scindia, on which Scindia also thanked the Chief Minister.
