Sequel to the Aquaman, that is, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’s trailer is set to release on Thursday. A teaser of the film arrived recently and it is confirmed that Amber Heard is in the cast of the film by Warner Bros
Ahead of the controversies she faced due to her divorce with ex-husband Johnny Depp, the audience is surprised that she’ll still be there in the film as she’s surrounded by controversies way prior to the release. Her character is of ‘Mera’ and in the teaser, she can be seen running towards a house set on fire. Although her role is a significant one, the Warner Bros kept her shot in the background of the teaser.
Heard stated, “There’s a ton of pressure on these big franchise movies, with millions and millions of dollars at stake, and compromises are part of trying to make it the most successful thing it can be.”
The film’s summary goes- “Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all. This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction.”
