The audience would not have witnessed the seasoned performers kissing, according to Ishita Moirta, who spoke to Hindustan Times. She disclosed that the kissing sequence was included in the original draft and was not added at the last minute. She continued, explaining further the director’s perspective, by saying that Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra’s kissing sequence was always meant to be a dignified moment. Furthermore, according to Ishita Moitra, neither Shabana Azmi nor Dharmendra had any issues with the kissing sequence.
