Kareena Kapoor Khan entered the OTT platform rat race with her first-ever appearance on Tuesday with the release of the first teaser of the eagerly anticipated thriller ‘Jaane Jaan’ on Netflix. Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma play supporting roles in the Sujoy Ghosh-directed film, which is based on the best-selling mystery novel The Devotion of Suspect X.
The trailer starts with Kareena as Mrs. D’Souza, who is in an abusive relationship and looks to be hiding a murder from her neighbor Naren, portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat, who has a sneaking suspicion about the scenario and is also a creepy stalker. Vijay portrays Karan, a police investigator who is in Kalimpong to investigate a crime, and his top suspect is Mrs D’Souza herself. Mrs. D’Souza must now take precautions to ensure that these two guys don’t learn about her secrets.
You won’t be able to fully grasp the tale after observing the trailer, and that’s rather intriguing. The location and color scheme are bleak which seems to enhance the impact of the story. However, watching the three formidable performers together has made us all eager to see the film. Sujoy Ghosh and the trio make a wonderful combination, which is another thing that will grab your attention.
