Fans responded to Sameer Wankhede’s mysterious remark by labeling it a retaliation for SRK’s ‘jawan’ viral dialogue.

The “Jawan” trailer has been released, and Shahrukh Khan Fans are ecstatic. In addition, SRK’s dialogue, “Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar,” from the movie has gained widespread attention, fuelling speculation that it is an indirect comment on former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal director Sameer Wankhede with regards to the case involving his son Aryan Khan.

To put things in perspective, Sameer detained Aryan Khan in connection with the narcotics case in 2021. Following many court appearances, the Bombay High Court granted him release after over a month in detention. Later, Aryan Khan received a pass.

After the conversation sparked controversy online, the former cop Sameer shared a cryptic Nicole Lyons statement that said, “I have licked the flames and danced in the ashes of every bridge I ever burned. I fear no hell from you”. The internet is now wondering as to whether this is Wankhede’s attempt to pay back Shah Rukh Khan.

In the meantime, the Aryan Khan case changed course when Sameer Wankhede was charged with corruption for reportedly seeking Rs 25 crore from SRK in exchange for the freedom of his son.
