Trailer Review: “Three Of Us” Shefali Shah Playing Dementia Patient’s Role | Love Story

The makers of ‘O My Darling’, ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Monica’ have come out with the trailer of another gripping movie named “Three Of Us” showcasing Shefali Shah, Jaideep Ahlawat and Swanand Kirkire in the lead roles.

The trailer starts with the introduction of Shefali Shah as Shailja, who has dementia, which makes her lose her memory bit by bit. Then she urges to her husband to go see her hometown, where she was born and brought up, which is a beautiful place in Konkan. Most of the film seems to be shot there itself as she goes on exploring her past, meeting her childhood love (Jaideep Ahlawat) and reliving those beautiful moments. We get to see all the places she has ever been to in the early years of her life. This emotional-drama flick seems to really touch the childhood fears, traumas and even the beautiful memories we all have within.

Shefali Shah, who plays the lead role in the film said: “It’s a very delicate film that is made with all our heart and love. It’s so fragile you can only breathe in it and experience it. It’s a story of coming home, a story of hope, a love story between three people hinging on the fragility of one. It’s one of the most exquisite films I’ve been a part of and I can’t begin to explain how happy it makes me to share it with everyone.”

Jaideep talked about the script of the film, stating: “The script of ‘Three of Us’ is a masterful blend of heart and nostalgia. It’s an honour to be a part of this project, and I believe audiences will be deeply moved by the story.”

Directed by Avinash Arun, produced by Sanjay Routray, Sarita Patil and Dikssha Jyote Routray, ‘Three Of Us’ will release worldwide in theatres on November 3.
