The first song of the much-awaited film ‘Sam Bahadur’ starring Vicky Kaushal as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw is out. The song unveils a never-seen-before character of Vicky, who is known to excel in any and every kind of role he is given.
The music video starts with showcasing Sam Manekshaw, aka Vicky Kaushal with the Indian soldiers, all training, marching and sloganeering in unison. It gives us a glimpse of the 1971 war of the Indian Army against Pakistan, guided by Manekshaw. Their love for the country and patriotism is prominent throughout the video of the song.
‘Badhte Chalo’ is sung by the very talented trio of Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani, and Divya Kumar, the lyrics by Gulzar, and the music is composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, written by Shantanu Shrivastava, Bhavani Iyer and Meghna Gulzar, this movie also features a Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, and many more and is set to go on the big screen on December 1, 2023.
