Telugu film star Chandra Mohan passed away today, that is, on 11 November, 2023. He was born on 23 May, 1943 in Pamidimukkala, Andhra Pradesh. The reason for his sudden death, as stated by his wife, Jalandhara and two daughters was because he suffered from a cardiac arrest. He breathed his last breath at 9:45 am at the Apollo hospital in Hyderabad.
Mallampalli Chandrasekhar Rao, aka Chandra Mohan made his debut in 1966 with ‘Rangula Ratnam’, and has worked in over 932 films, including 150 as the main lead. His famous works include – Padaharella Vayasu (1978), Siri Siri Muvva (1976), Sankarabharanam (1980) and many more.
Actors from the south industry, production houses, directors and many others who were big fans of the very talented and one of the most renowned Telugu actors, sir Chandra Mohan, took to their social media handles and expressed how disheartened they are because of this news.
Jr. NTR posted a paragraph in Telugu, which translates as- “It is very sad to see the untimely death of Chandramohan Garu, who has earned special recognition for himself by playing different roles in films for many decades. My deepest condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace.”
