Despite the fact that Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan has been making waves at the box office not only domestically, but globally as well, it has been a great success. It has already crossed the Rs 600 crore mark internationally as well as Rs 300 crore mark domestically, and the spy thriller by YRF is starring Deepika Padukone as well as John Abraham.
In terms of the Indian box office collections, Pathaan collected between Rs 55 crore and Rs 68 crore on Wednesday, Rs 38 crore on Thursday, Rs 550 crore on Saturday, Rs 550 crore on Sunday, Rs 25 crore on Monday, and an estimated Rs 21 crore on Tuesday.
In terms of worldwide gross, Pathaan has crossed the Rs 600 crore mark in seven days, making it the fastest Hindi film to make it in the Rs 300 crore club, beating past top earners such as KGF: Chapter 2 and Baahubali: The Conclusion.
A documentary directed by Siddharth Anand has even managed to crossover the $10 million mark at the North American box office, where it has broken the top five earners list.
Despite the fact that Shah Rukh Khan’s last film Zero had tanked miserably at the box office, Pathaan is Shah Rukh Khan’s return vehicle. Despite the early obstacles and boycott calls from right-wing outfits and opposition from the right-wing movement in the movie, Shah Rukh Khan appears to have impressed everyone with his performance in the movie.
