Following the success of Shakuntala Devi, Sherni, Chhorii, Durgamati, Ram Setu, and the famous Amazon Original series Breathe, this is the eighth cooperation between Prime Video and Abundantia Entertainment. It’s also Prime Video’s third cooperation with Vidya Balan.
Suresh Triveni directed the film, which stars Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah and is co-produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment.
On March 18, Prime members in India and 240 other countries and territories will be able to see the unique premiere of Jalsa.
Jalsa, a much-anticipated drama thriller, will have its global premiere on Prime Video today. Jalsa is directed by Suresh Triveni and co-produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Abundantia Entertainment’s Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma, and Suresh Triveni. Vidya Balan, Shefali Shah, Manav Kaul, Rohini Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Shrikant Mohan Yadav, Shafeen Patel, and Surya Kasibhatla are among the cast members. Suresh Triveni previously worked with Vidya Balan on the critically acclaimed Tumhari Sulu, and the two are teaming up again for the sequel. It’s also the third time Prime Video and Vidya Balan have collaborated. Following a distinguished content slate that includes Shakuntala Devi, Sherni, Chhorii, Ram Setu, and the enormously popular Amazon Original series Breathe, Jalsa is the next stage in Prime Video and Abundantia Entertainment’s long-standing partnership. Jalsa will launch on Amazon Prime Video on March 18 in India and 240 other countries and territories across the world.
