Rakul Preet Singh and Neena Gupta will star together in a comedy-thriller directed by Ashish R. Shukla, known for the critically acclaimed crime-thriller series ‘Undekhi’.
The film promises to bring a combination of humor and thrills that will keep moviegoers delighted, according to Pinkvilla, which describes it as a “uniquely produced comedy”.
Along with a strong supporting cast, both actresses will play the lead roles in the movie, which will start filming in Mumbai by the end of October. This comedy marks Sunir Kheterpal’s second collaboration with Rakul Preet Singh following the recently released Nikhil Mahajan film I Love You. Sunir Kheterpal is well known for producing films like Rocky Handsome, Badla, Kesari, and Bloody Daddy under his company Athena ENM.
Rakul will finish her feature with Neena Gupta in December and may follow it up with an action flick early next year. She hasn’t signed the deal yet, but she is in discussions to star in a female-driven action movie. ‘De De Pyaar De 2’, on the other hand, is slated to begin filming in the first quarter of 2024. Neena Gupta, on the other hand, had a recent release with Vishal Bhardwaj’s SonyLIV series, ‘Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley’.
