Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, who got engaged in May at Delhi’s Kapurthala House, have finally tied the knot in a grand wedding celebration near the Pichola lake in Udaipur. It was held in the presence of only the family members, friends and close ones of the couple. With the theme set as ‘A pearl white Indian wedding’, the wedding venue and the interiors look ethereal and super elegant.
According to reports, the ceremonies of choora, mehendi, haldi and sangeet were held on Friday and Saturday. On the big day, the Baraat traveled from the Taj Lake Palace to The Leela Palace on a boat as the hotel in which Parineeti’s family stayed was The Leela Palace, and Raghav’s family stayed at the Taj Lake Palace.
Adding on to the ceremonies, the couple even held a ‘Shaanti Path’ before the holy pheras. The sides of the Path were decorated with lovely white flowers and a white carpet.
The elegant lehenga worn by Parineeti, which is beige and cream colored along with the jewellery were designed by famous designer Manish Malhotra. She can be seen wearing a big green neckpiece, light green colored maang tikka and pastel pink choora with minimal makeup. On her veil, we can see ‘Raghav’ written in Hindi.
Raghav and Parineeti took to his Instagram and shared a combined post of the photos of their wedding, captioning – “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time.. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs!Couldn’t have lived without each other.. Our forever begins now..”. To this post, Priyanka Chopra immediately commented- “My blessings always”.
