OMG 2’s trailer dropped out recently. This movie is a sequel to the very famous movie Oh My God (OMG). But very few people know it was from there that the script of the much anticipated OMG 2 was actually finalised while Akshay Kumar was hospitalized after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Back when Akshay Kumar had COVID-19, his situation was severe, and to ensure the safety of his family, he silently admitted himself in a hospital in Mumbai. From that hospital room itself, he was having the final discussions on the script via video calls. It was from there that the final script of OMG 2 was finalized.
The movie OMG 2, which features Pankaj Tripathi as the lead alongside Yami Gautam, also stars Arun Govil, Govind Namdev, Pawan Malhotra, Brijendra Kalra, and more. It is directed by Amit Rai and will be released on 11 August, 2023.
