Social media is fast becoming more dominated by the use of computer-generated characters. An almost exact replica of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s visage was recently created by an Instagram user using artificial intelligence.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who was well-known for his deft acting abilities, died tragically at a young age, leaving behind his legacy. Given the classic films the late actor acted in, he continues to maintain a special place in everyone’s hearts.
Not just his family, but the actor’s social media followers also cannot get over this irrepairable loss. One such follower, who is also known as his doppelganger, used artificial intelligence to construct an almost exact facsimile of his face and posted it on social media.
The user, who goes by the name Donim Ayaan, posted this video on Instagram, and others have been struck by how much they resemble him. All social media users had varying emotions about the video after watching the actor’s picture come to life. Several of Sushant’s admirers broke down in tears and thanked him for keeping his memory alive, saying “Aapne Sushant Ki yaadein taza ki iske liye thank you,” “welcome back new Sushant Singh Rajput,”
Others, however, criticized the user for exploiting Sushant’s name to gain attention. “This is an AI-generated character,” one person said. What is going on with people now? Would act in any way to gain viewers. “He’s only exploiting him (Sushant) merely for fame,” another netizen remarked.
