A second installment to the very famous and superhit film ‘Yatra’, which was a biopic released in 2019 on the life of the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, is set to release super soon. Superstar Mammootty played the lead role in ‘Yatra’, and now, in ‘Yatra 2’, Jiiva will play the role of the late Chief Minister’s son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The biopic is said to feature the political journey of YS Mohan Reddy and the poster of which has recently been released. Mammootty himself took to his X handle and shared its first-look poster, which showcases the superstar looking at Jiiva.
He captioned the post- “Presenting the first look of #Yatra2. In cinemas worldwide from 8th Feb, 2024”, hence revealing its release date, which falls on the same date Yatra part 1 released 5 years ago.
‘Yatra 2’ is a Telugu film directed by Mahi V Raghav, and produced by Shiva Meka in association with Three Autumn Leaves and V Celluloid.
