Legendary filmmaker Ramanand Sagar’s brother Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who is known for giving superhits and blockbusters like 3 Idiots, Munna Bhai MBBS, Sanju and many more, is back with another project named ’12th Fail’ which stars Vikrant Massey, Sanjay Bishnoi Naval, Palak Lalwani and others.
The trailer of this upcoming project was released today in which we get to see a man, Vikrant Massey, who comes from a very poor household from a small village with a strong dream of becoming an IAS. It starts off with a person, who seems to be the main lead’s companion, stating that there are around 2 lakh children from Hindi medium schools, out of which only 25-30 get the opportunity of cracking the exam and becoming an IAS or IPS.
It goes on showcasing the struggles of Vikrant Massey’s character, the way he’s forced to clean toilets and serve at restaurants. Then we see that there are people making fun of him, his girlfriend leaving him, and even him failing at the main exam. But the way the story’s being woven together seems interesting, showcasing the actual struggles and ground reality of a person with a strong dream other than the glam world.
This project is based on a true story and is dated to release on 27th October 2023.
