Akhil Mishra, the Legendary Dubey from ‘3 Idiots,’ Passes Away

Actor Akhil Mishra, well known for playing Librarian Dubey in the iconic Aamir Khan film ‘3 Idiots’, has died. His final rites will be performed at Indralok next to Golden Nest.

Suzanne Bernert, his wife and actress, was said to be in Hyderabad for a shoot at the time of the incident. After hearing the news, she hastened back. The 58-year-old actor reportedly slipped while cooking in his kitchen.

Sources say that Suzanne, his wife, has been in shock ever since his body was sent for post-mortem. She has been doing all the preparations and arrangements for the cremation. Suzanna said, “My heart is broken, my second half is gone.”

Akhil made a place for himself by doing supporting roles and gradually rising in popularity by his remarkable acting talent. He appeared in films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain, Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baki Hai, Radio, Kareeb, Dhat Tere Ki, Kamla Ki Maut, Hamari Shaadi and many more in addition to 3 Idiot.

He has not only worked in films but also some very popular television series like Bhanwar, Yum Hain Hum, Pradhanmantri, The Adventures of Hatim, Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, Uttaran, Udaan, Mera Dil Dewaana, Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna, Hatim, Kadam, Sea Hawks, Shrimaan Shrimati, Grihalakshmi Ka Jinn, and Rajani, among others.
His sudden demise has shocked friends and audiences alike. Tributes have been pouring in all day long on all social plateforms for this versatile actor.
