The Loss of His Father on Monday Has Left Actor Pankaj Tripathi Inconsolable.

Following the passing of his father Pandit Banaras Tiwari, who passed away in his hometown in Bihar on Monday at the age of 98, Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi, who was previously enjoying the success of his film ‘OMG2,’ is now experiencing profound loss.

Pandit Banaras Tiwari passed away in his hometown of Belsand, Bihar. The actor is deeply saddened by the loss of his father, with whom he shared a strong bond.

In an official statement, Pankaj Tripathi and his family declared “It’s with a heavy heart to confirm that Pankaj Tripathi’s father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari is no more. He lived a wholesome life of 99 years. His last rites will be performed today amongst his close family. Pankaj Tripathi is currently on his way to his village in Gopalganj.”

Pankaj Tripathi’s parents lived in Bihar, while the actor resides in Mumbai with his wife and kid. In one of the interviews, the renowned actor Pankaj Tripathi had revealed that his father once paid a visit to his Mumbai home for a housewarming ceremony. “He hasn’t yet seen what an actual movie theater looks like on the inside. He sees my work if someone shows it to him on their computer or on the television that I recently built,” Tripathi added.
