The crew of Indo-Nepali film “Parastree” promotes film in Delhi

Ahead of the release of the Indo-Nepali film “Parastree,” a press conference was organized on June 26 at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place.

The film discusses extramarital relationships, and the director (Suraj Pandey) claims that it is based on real-life events. The crew was thrilled to have the chance to screen their film in India. Despite the language barrier, the cast and crew were able to converse with the reporters resorting to some Hindi words.

The female lead’s role was difficult to cast and Shilpa Maskey was the one to accept this challenge. For actors, it was difficult to shoot the movie’s climax.
The performers claim that the intimate sequences were difficult to carry out. However, they eventually realised that this film was an artistic endeavor, and they were required to give it their all.

When asked what makes this movie different from other Bollywood films, the actors responded that there are films with the same concept everywhere, not just in Bollywood but in Hollywood too, but this movie has a different plot and the three characters aren’t all shown in black and white; instead, they all have their greys. Therefore, there isn’t a villain or a hero in the story.
