Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor’s 2007 romance comedy “Jab We Met” was a major hit and is still a favorite among audiences today.
Although the movie’s fans have long called for a sequel, it now seems inevitable. The plot for Jab We Met 2 is “taking shape,” if a Times Now article is to be believed.
According to the entertainment website, Raj Mehta, the owner of Ashtavinayak, would produce the film under the Gandhar Films label. The formation of Gandhar Films & Studio Private Limited in 2021 marked Gandhar Group’s entry into the entertainment industry after 30 years in the oil refinery sector. Imtiaz Ali, who helmed the first movie, is said to be also in talks to helm the follow-up.
It is now being rumored whether Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor will reunite for the movie Jab We Met 2 and reprise their roles as Geet and Aditya, respectively. There has been no official comment from the producers regarding the sequel.
