Interview:Let’s know What’s next on Amit Sadh’s bucket list

Actor Amit Sadh, renowned for his excellent performances in ‘Jeet Ki Zid’, ‘Avrodh’, and ‘Breathe’, has captured the nation’s attention with his astounding bike adventure. This risky voyage covered a distance of around 1500 kilometres, taking a path from Balasior via Ahmedabad, Jodhpur, Jaipur, and ultimately Delhi. In order to honour Indian culture and the tranquilly of its landscapes, Amit Sadh embarked on this incredible journey.

Q. What has your experience of the trip been like till now?
-: So far, it’s been amazing and generally for bike trips, we leave at 7 but this time we left at 10, so we did face a lot of traffic. It took us 3-4 hours to cross Mumbai itself. Then there was a bit of rain, but I’m not complaining. It took a long time to get out of Bombay and at 6 too, the GPS said ‘your destination is 3 hours away’. Then I asked myself why I was doing this. I’ve not even reached Ahmedabad (laughs). But yes, the sunset and night’s ride was beautiful as we were driving alongside a forest. I was just enjoying the ride when I saw thousands of insects coming right across my face. But then I smiled and said ‘this is why I’ve come here’.

Q. We see a lot of your writing content on your social media handles, so can we expect an article or probably a book on this journey?
-: I think the fact that I’m sharing this journey is a good step. I’m also documenting this, so we may release a 20-25 min. short movie on it as well.

Q. During this journey you did inspire a lot of people, but did you find anyone who inspired you?
-: We might feel like we’re inspiring the world, but it’s actually the one who’s inspiring to be inspired the most. And I’m not saying this to sound humble, you can check other interviews I’ve done as well but I’m very grateful for the amount of love I’ve gotten from this country. I’ve been doing acting for 20 years now. 6 years in TV serials, then 4 years of struggle and then 10 years of movies. So I feel very blessed and I think that inspiration is not like you think only you can inspire the whole world. I see young people, 22 year old girls and guys doing so much hard work, so yes I get inspired even from them.

Q. You stated in an interview that you love traveling on your bike and discovering the culture around, but how much can a person discover in a day’s ride?
-: In the same interview I stated that I love to drive my bike, and I can drive it for as long.

Q. So after this trip is completed, what’s next?
-: Next trip is ready. Mongolia !
