Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra just released the trailer of his upcoming movie ‘UT 69’, which talks about him allegedly being involved in a pornographic content case in 2021, and will showcase his life’s story inside Mumbai’s Arthur Jail Road, the main lead of which is none other than Raj Kundra himself.
The trailer opens up with a ‘breaking news’ showcasing Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra being arrested, something which had actually happened back then. Then we heard a police officer sarcastically welcoming him in the jail and Raj stating, “I had heard about this jail on TV, but had never imagined being here…” Even the people there recognise him as Shilpa’s husband, or a Bigg Boss contestant and the trailer basically showcases him adjusting in the environment of the jail, unexpectedly making new friendships and then finally making his way out after two months of actual imprisonment.
In the trailer which was released on YouTube, the makers stated, “UT69 takes a satirical look into the real-life incidents of businessman Raj Kundra’s days spent in Arthur Road jail. He recalls this period as his most difficult time. The film depicts this chapter of his life and is based on a true story.”
Earlier this month, a hilarious video of Raj Kundra announcing the release date of UT69 with filmmaker Farah Khan and comedian Munawar Faruqui was out, in which people were constantly asking Farah if this was her film, and she just kept denying. Directed by Shahnawaz Ali, backed by AA Films, produced by SVS Studios, and co-produced by THE BIGGER PICTURE FILMS, this one is set to release on 3rd November 2023, and will mark Raj Kundra’s debut in the world of films.
