Palestinian-American supermodel Bella Hadid who had been working with Dior since 2016, has been replaced with an Israelian model, May Tager. May is a part of Dior’s new ad campaign, and both Dior and the model are being brutally trolled online.
This news was published by an Israeli newspaper, which read- “While many companies around the world refrain from openly supporting Israel, international brand Dior has chosen Israeli model May Tager to lead their campaign, a role previously held by Bella Hadid, who has long been an advocate for the Palestinian cause and a vocal critic of Israel.”
Much to the surprise, amidst all the online trolling, even Indian actor Richa Chaddha can be spotted in the comment section of Dior’s post. She stated- “HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF HISTORY?”
