The National Capital recently witnessed the promotional event of the upcoming ‘Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahani’. The Imperial Hotel in Delhi hosted the event. The movie is scheduled to premiere on July 28, 2023. Karan Johar is the film’s producer and director..
The film boasts of an ensemble cast featuring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra. In spite of their cultural differences, flamboyant Punjabi Rocky and thoughtful Bengali journalist Rani fall in love in the film. They choose to spend three months living with the families of each other after experiencing opposition from their own.
Sharing screen time with the iconic Dharmendra Sir was weird, as Ranveer remarked. “Working with him was a dream come true for me because I’ve been watching him my entire life”.
Alia said, “I was always observing our legends Shabana ma’am and Jaya ma’am between the shots, which is their method and how they conduct themselves with such grace on screen. Being able to work with such beauty makes me incredibly delighted”.
