A.R. Rahman has been under fire for several hours after his ‘Marakuma Nenjam’ concert was called out for mismanagement. The authorities failed to deliver the music to the audience, and many fans were forced to wait outside the venue due to a lack of adequate setting management.
A.R. Rahman apologized on X to the listeners who were sent away despite having a valid ticket. “Dearest Chennai Makkale, those of you who purchased tickets and weren’t able to enter owing to unfortunate circumstances, please do share a copy of your ticket purchase to arr4chennai@btos.in along with your grievances. Our team will respond asap” he said.
ACTC Events posted on X, accepting full responsibility for the events’ mishaps, saying: “Grateful to Chennai and the renowned @arrahman Sir! Our presentation was a huge success thanks to the tremendous audience and the amazing response. We apologize in advance to anyone unable to attend due to crowding. We accept accountability and complete responsibility. We’re here for you. #MarakkumaNenjam.”
