This year’s Paris Fashion Week saw the debut of Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. Navya’s stunning runway performance was highlighted in numerous photos and videos that her proud mother, Shweta Bachchan, uploaded from the occasion. As they sat in the front row clapping heartily for her, Shweta posted photos of herself and her mother Jaya Bachchan. She shared the video of her daughter walking down the runway with the caption “Little Miss L’Or al.” Several well-known people, including Navya’s aunt Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, walked the runway to L’Oreal Paris.
While her family is encouraging her, internet users are mocking her for her walk and comparing it to the morning stroll. One user wrote, “Seems she is walking at her home,” while another asked, “What is she waving off like she is walking on the streets of Juhu and suddenly spotted Ananya or Shanaya?”While some are skeptical about her presence at the important event, asking “Why is she here? One person wrote: “Her only merit is that she is the granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Nandas; nothing else. She hardly deserves to be here.”
