Richa Chadha to pursue further training in kathak as a result of her role in Bhansali’s Heeramandi

Despite the fact that Richa Chadha had been trained in Kathak as a child, she was forced to stop her training due to board exams, so she reunited with a ex , which is not a person. However, when the opportunity to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali brought her back to Kathak, she began to pursue it again as soon as she received the chance.

During her childhood, the actress trained in Kathak for ten years under Pt Abhay Shankar Mishra as a child. However, life got in the way and I forgot about my love for dance. While I was afraid that I would lost touch with it, I felt as if I was swimming without a lifejacket. But it was like swimming and I think I could float without one.

I believe that dance has the power to give one a sense of connection, groundedness, confidence and definitely happiness. Movement is medicine. I plan to complete my studies in the dance form this year, under the guidance of my guru, Pt. Rajendra Chaturvedi.
