Asia’s largest genre cinema event – The Bucheon International Film Festival (BiFan), has started. The film ‘Privacy’ with its talented team including Rajshri Deshpande, Sudeep Kanwal, Akash Banerji, Nishank Verma, and Saurabh Goyal, has already started creating a buzz. The talented team glimmered at the red carpet of this captivating social thriller with their presence.

Rajshri Deshpande, who elegantly showcased her Maharashtrian roots by adorning Navari Saree, complemented her look by a traditional Marathi nose pin. She expressed her excitement all the way from South Korea, stating, “I am ecstatic! As a simple Marathi girl, the Nauvari Saree holds immense significance for me. Today, I had the opportunity to flaunt it! I borrowed this exquisite nosepin from my sister, and it truly enhances the overall look. Since the film is so unique, I thought of having a distinctive red carpet appearance. Moreover, we are eagerly looking forward to the premiere. ‘Privacy’ is a crucial film and sheds light on issues related to mental health & personal space.”

The writer and director of ‘Privacy,’ Sudeep Kanwal stated, “I am immensely grateful for the overwhelming response we got here at BiFan. The very first day program director Ellen Kim spotted me from a distance, came running and gave me a hug. She told me how much she liked the film. ‘Privacy’ is an absorbing, dark social thriller that talks about a distressed surveillance center operator located in Mumbai. It embarks on an investigation and turns into unusual events that occur during her shift.

It’s produced by Shlok Sharma and Navin Shetty Of Fundamental Pictures, in association with House of Talent Studio. ‘Privacy’ also features an interesting cast including Sandesh Kulkarni, Abhilash Thapliyal, Chhaya Kadam, Rushad Rana, and Sagar Salunke in pivotal roles.
