Kiara Advani tied the knot with her Shershaah co-star Sidharth Malhotra in February of the previous year at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace.

During an episode of Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan 8, Kiara Advani shared the story of Sidharth Malhotra’s proposal in Rome using lines from Shershaah. “When Sid appeared on that episode (last year’s Koffee With Karan), we had just returned from Rome, where he proposed to me. My parents were not present; it was our inaugural family vacation with both our families. I had a slight inkling that he might propose. I told him that he had to talk to my parents, and he asked, ‘Are you kidding me?’ I replied, ‘Yeah, you first ask them and take their permission. Let’s do it the right way; they will be happy.’ Unfortunately, my mom had Covid, so she couldn’t travel with us. Thus, I went with his parents,” she reminisced.
