After ‘Dostana 2’ was set aside in 2021 due to the conflict between Kartik Aryan and Dharma Productions, it is now that the production house as well as the actor have finally decided to come together for a big project, which will also come under a Balaji Productions.
On Kartik’s 33rd birthday, that is, this Wednesday, the Dharma Productions took to its social media handle and announced this big collaboration with Balaji Productions, and also its release date, which is 15 August, 2025.
The post was captioned – “The Instagram caption stated, “Lights, camera and… surprise! (clap board emoji) We are thrilled to announce a new story brewing that has found a home with Dharma Productions and Balaji Telefilms. Starring Kartik Aaryan and directed by Sandeep Modi, this yet to be titled film will be released on 15th August, 2025. Stay tuned!”
Although it isn’t titled yet, and the rest of the cast isn’t known, it will cast Kartik in the main lead and is directed by Sandeep Modi. The names of the producers are- Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor.
