Jaane Jaan Review : The Ending is Going to have you Awe-struck !

The movie Jaane Jaan, which just released today stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat as the main cast.

Talking about its storyline, it is all shot in a small town and in limited places. The town is set in a beautiful hilly area, where there is no sun at all and it looks cold and grey. The monochrome theme set throughout the film is something inspired from the Japanese style of filmmaking. As it is this movie is inspired from the Japanese novel named ‘Devotion of suspect X’.

The film starts with a single mother named Maya D’Souza who lives with her 13 year old daughter Tara. She left her husband and ran away because of his business and other personal issues, and after 14 years he finds her in this small town, then Maya ends up haphazardly murdering her husband. The story then takes a turn when her neighbour, Jaideep Ahlawat, decides to help her from the police officer, Vijay Varma. Till the very end you would wonder how they are going to wrap this up, and how they do it will surely leave you awe-stricken.

The way the plot goes, the building up of characters, and the whole idea is so new and interesting that it wouldn’t let you leave the film until it’s over. Talking about the acting, music and direction, everything was on point. But there could have been a whole series made on this mind-blowing novel so the makers could get a chance to give the story a lot more depth as it came to an end too quickly.

The movie is out on Netflix, is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Jay Shewakramani.

Overall, this one is a must watch!
