“I am working again with my mentor…” Rajinikanth on Working Again with Amitabh Bachchan

Superstar Rajinikanth, aka Shivaji Rao Gaikwad, who has worked for over five decades in the Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malyalam, Bengali, Kannada film industries, recently shared a post on his X handle with Amitabh Bachchan. This picture was actually posted to reveal that the outstanding duo will once again be seen on the big screen, that too after 33 years. And this time, the name of the yet-to-be released project is “Thalaivar 170”.

He captioned it- “After 33 years, I am working again with my mentor, the phenomenon, Shri Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming Lyca’s “Thalaivar 170″ directed by T.J Gnanavel. My heart is thumping with joy!@SrBachchan @LycaProductions @tjgnan #Thalaivar170”

Speaking of the film, Rajinikanth shared a few words with the news agency PTI earlier this year, stating “I’m doing my 170th film with director Gnanavel and Lyca which will be a huge entertainer at the same time with a social message. I am going to shoot for my 170th movie… The title for the movie is not decided yet.”

As of now, whatever is known about ‘Thalaivar 170’, as per reports is that it is surely going to have an intriguing storyline, wherein Rajinikanth will be playing a cop, and Big B is said to play the role of the antagonist.
