The minute-long teaser of ‘Friday Night Plan’ features the new pair of Babil and Juhi as son and mother. All we can make out from the teaser is that mother Juhi Chawla is counting on her two sons to take care of themselves overnight as she has to leave for Pune. Then we can see the sons partying the night away, but what seems from the teaser is that the story might revolve around that night but there’s more to the series.
Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan made his debut in the web series ‘Railway Men’ and has appeared in the English short film ‘The Mattress Man: A Yawn to Action’ (2021). He also acted in Qala (2022). Juhi Chawla, a big name in the industry, established herself as a successful actor from the 1980s to the 2000s. She has worked in movies like ‘Yes Boss’, ‘Phir bhi Dil hai Hindustani’, ‘Ishq’, ‘Salam-E-ishq’ and many more.
This series, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, directed by Vatsal Neelakantan is set to release on Netflix on September 1.
