Q. How has your experience of working in the industry been so far?
Ans-To be completely honest, I consider myself extremely fortunate to have worked with so many incredible actors and models over the years. However, there is a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes that the public is not aware about
Q Your career began in April 2011 when you were featured in a 12 page editorial in one of the top fashion publications, vogue India. How exactly did you land there?
Ans- I was working in America at the time, I’m half Indian but I’d never been to India before, and I signed with an agency in India because they said they had so many opportunities for me, even though we shot the vogue editorial 4 months before it actually came out, so you’re obviously nervous that they’ll drop the editorial or cancel it, but they didn’t, and then I featured several more times in vogue.
Q. How much do you identify or not identify with the character you played in your recent movie ‘Aseq’?
Ans-I was able to tap into those emotions because while Priyanka has gone through things that I haven’t, there are some parallels that I can draw from the experiences that my friends have had that are similar to the character. However, boy trouble is something that everyone can relate to, including myself, so yes, I was able to relate to that character.
Q. Are you interested in acting in Hollywood projects as well, given that you have appeared in a number of Bollywood films?
Ans-I enjoy working, I love my profession, and I can’t wait to see what my next opportunity will be. So for me, the bigger the better.
