“At Prime Video, our purpose has always been to be an agent of positive change and a direct and indirect supporter of the Indian economy. Mission Start Ab is a ground-breaking television series, and we are immensely happy to work with the Office of the PSA, Government of India, to make it a reality. This partnership between the Office of the PSA, the Indian government, and Prime Video marks a new step in the journey that began earlier this year when Amazon India signed a Letter of Engagement (LoE) with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) to foster the expansion of India’s creative economy. As we develop new formats that enable business owners, producers, and innovators to broaden their horizons through our service, this significant collaboration serves as an example of our dedication to the nation and our viewers. Our goal with Mission Start Ab is to not only spotlight local innovations happening all over the country but also to support the dreams of many young Indians by following the path of some of the most innovative brains in India”.

Amazon has put a lot of effort into supporting and fostering entrepreneurs in India. We have undertaken a variety of measures to support India’s start-up ecosystem throughout the years. According to Chetan Krishnaswamy, vice president of public policy at Amazon India, “Today, we are thrilled to unveil this Amazon Original show on Prime Video, in cooperation with the Office of Principal Scientific Adviser, Government of India, we think that this program will encourage a lot of people to pursue entrepreneurship and help the government’s “Start-up India” initiative grow”.

In addition to being a well-known actor and successful businesswoman, Alia Bhatt also works as an investor. She attended the event to discuss her experiences as an entrepreneur. While there are many brilliant ideas and aspirational young founders around us, it takes a particular type of dedication to convert that idea into reality, assemble the proper team, find the right mentors, raise finance, and create something out of nothing, she said ” I appreciate the Office of the PSA, the Government of India, and Prime Video India for launching Mission Start Ab to support and empower entrepreneurs. I believe this effort may make a significant impact on the nation’s expanding start-up ecosystem”.
